Just for fun, here are some photos of bags, accessories, and jewelry storage I’ve made for me:
This is a reversible padded bag with adjustable strap. I had a blast decorating each side of the bag flap with applique, embroidery, and buttons!!
This is a business card holder I made with three different fabrics. I’m going to tweak the pattern a bit so that I can make a wider topstitch around the finished product. And I’m going to fix the elastic so that it fits around the button better. But meanwhile I will carry this around in my (orange, above 😀 ) bag.
And last year I went nuts either trading products for or buying jewelry from local jewelers. As you can see, I love colourful and big jewelry, too. 😀 But it was cluttering my shelf, and I couldn’t see it all easily. And I didn’t want to hide it away anymore in the jewelry box. So, I created some jewelry holders. They aren’t beautiful, but they are functional. And they do what I want most – show off the jewelry. I made them from cardboard, a white sheet, glue gun, string, polyester batting, and duct tape. I will paint the ring holder with white paint, but I keep forgetting to do so. 😀 (Ignore dates stamps on photos – my camera is wonky)
